你的句子可以改成
The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
但不可以改成你說的那樣
因為被計畫賣的是house 不是my parents...   希望有幫上你

過去分詞句型是S+had +過去分詞
為什麼要寫成
The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.
寫成
The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
不是更符合過去分詞的句型嗎

還有
寫成The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month. 是可以的
那麼依據過去分詞的句型:had+過去分詞寫成The house my parents had been planned to sell was at last sold last month.
為什麼不行

◎一個句子中　強調先後順序
先發生的事用過去完成式(had+Vpp)
後發生的則用過去式.

※The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.

過去完成進行式：had been +Ving
使用"過去完成"：因為"計劃售出"此事發生於"售出"之前
然後加上"進行式"的用法：則表示強調動作的持續及延續

※The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
過去完成式：had planned

◎The house my parents had been planned to sell was at last sold last month.
為什麼不行?
The house (my parents had been planned to sell) was at last sold last month.
        s                我父母被計劃賣 (文意上錯誤)           v
The house (which had been planned to sell by my parents) was at last sold last month.
        s                                                                                 v
      被我父母計劃賣的房子(文意上才對)

◎過去完成式(Past perfect)
had+Vpp
had譯成：已經、曾經、曾~過
強調先後~ 一個句子中，先者用過去完成式：had+Vpp， 後者用過去式。
ex: I had watched TV before you came.
      我已經在看電視,在你來前。 

◎過去完成進行式(Past perfect progressive)
had been +Ving
had譯成：已經、一直、一直在、一直都在
強調持續動作的進行中~
持續發生在過去一段時間的事，先者用過去完成進行式: had been +Ving，後者亦是用過去式。
ex：I had been watching TV for an hour when you came.
       我一直看電視一小時了,在你來時。       

由上可知：您問的以下兩句都合文法，但在文意上小有不同。
※The house my parents had planned to sell was at last sold last month.
我父母已經計劃（曾計劃過）要賣的房子終於在上個月賣出。 

※The house my parents had been planning to sell was at last sold last month.
我父母已經計劃（一直在計劃）要賣的房子終於在上個月賣出。  

而用 [ 過去完成進行式 ] 會更傳神，
更能表達 認真辛苦賣房子 的感覺。
因為 父母一直不斷地 " 正在計劃賣房子  " 。  

（任何形式的 [ 進行式 ] 都是在強調做這件事情的 "動作 "
相較於任何形式的 [ 簡單式 ] 就只是在敍述一件事而已。
所以才會說 在你的這個句子中,，用 [ 過去完成進行式 ] 會更傳神!!）
