Iveco 190 E42 - Evald SpeditionA 6x4/4 tractor with a Palfinger P750 crane
In Denmark, at the company
Evald Spedition from Rødekro, runs this special Iveco EuroTrakker 190E42 6x4/4.
The tractor has been built out of a 4x4 chassis, which has gotten an extra steering and air suspended front axle. The rest of the axles have leaf springs.
Here it is good to see how short the wheelbase of this vehicle is, very compact and manouvrable for use on building sites. The 6x4 drive also provides good performance on non-paved building places.
They mounted the extra front axle so that a heave Palfinger P750 (PK75000E) could be placed behind the cab. With this 71 ton/mtr crane they mount pre-fab houses, a specialty of Evald. The crane has a jib mounted for a larger outreach. The length of the standard crane is 15,6 mtr, the jib extends it with 13,8 mtr which gives a total length of almost 30 meters.
A very special vehicle, in fact is the only Iveco of this type that I know of. Scania also builds these axle configurations, I saw one in Austria.
